Daily Bread 1 - ratio

Dear all,
Please do these two questions in a new exercise book. Leave 3 pages for your content page. Number your page from the 4th page onwards.

On the 4th page, copy out the first question and then solve the problem. for the second question, copy it on a new page and then solve the problem.

Q1:  The ratio of Ahmad’s money to Charlie’s money is in the ratio 3 : 7.  The ratio of   Charlie’s money to Betty’s money is in the ratio 5 : 2. Find the ratio of Ahmad’s money to Betty’s money to Charlie’s money.

Q2. Vanessa had some local and foreign stamps. The ratio of the number of local stamps to the number of foreign stamps was 3 : 4. She bought 60 more local stamps and the ratio     became 9 : 8. How many foreign stamps did Vanessa have?
